DFR Rates & Forms Section

The Department Rates and Forms Section is responsible for reviewing and approving insurance company filings for products and pricing.

Its work helps protect consumers by ensuring all company filings comply with Vermont laws, regulations and bulletins. In addition, the section serves as a technical resource for consumers, industry and other interested parties.

Medicare Supplement Rates

The Department posts the Monthly Medicare Supplement Rates of Standardized Plans (for age 65+ and under age 65 and disabled).


SERFF

The department utilizes the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF) in the review of insurance filings. SERFF offers access to the public to view non-confidential filings. If you experience technical difficulties with the SERFF, please direct your questions to the SERFF Help Desk at 816-783-8990 or by email: sfahelp@naic.org. The SERFF Help Desk is staffed Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm CST. Alternatively, you may review non-confidential filings in our office by calling 802-828-2908 to make an appointment.
